Job summary

Heart Hospital of Austin is seeking a House Supervisor RN Admin to oversee all house-wide functions during shifts and lead the nursing management team. The role requires directing staff, ensuring safety, and coordinating with hospital leadership.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate Degree in Nursing, 2+ years in healthcare, and leadership experience with an active RN license. No travel and a focus on cardiovascular care excellence are expected.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Nursing is required.
  • Bachelors degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years in healthcare with 1+ year in leadership.
  • RN license active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise all house-wide functions during a shift.
  • Act as a nursing management team member and coordinate activities with hospital administration.
  • Ensure high quality, patient-centered care across the unit.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The House Supervisor ensures high quality, patient-centered care through direction and supervision of all house-wide functions during a designated shift. The House Supervisor participates as an active member of the nursing management team and assumes authority to manage all activities and personnel in conjunction with and in the absence of hospital administration.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Associates degree in Nursing, required
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • 2+ years experience in healthcare required
  • 1+years in a leadership role required
  • BLS Required ACLS 90 days from hire date
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
  • No Travel Required
