Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for acute rehabilitation care at Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL. This full-time, days shift position is 0.9 FTE and offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

The RN will provide direct patient care within the rehab department and guide patient/family teaching while maintaining standards of care. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, with a focus on safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current and valid State RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• ACLS certificate required within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Physical Rehabilitation Department. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid State RN License.

2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

3. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
