Registered Nurse, Acute MedSurgical B - PRN Tier Plan

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute MedSurgical B - PRN Tier Plan position in Lake Charles, LA.

This local job opportunity with ID 3191306753 has been live since 2025-05-13. We offer a flexible schedule allowing you to choose your rate under our PRN Tier Plan:

1. Tier 1: $40/hr for 6 shifts within a 6-week schedule
2. Tier 2: $45/hr for 12 shifts within a 6-week schedule
3. Tier 3: $50/hr for 18 shifts within a 6-week schedule

Shift differentials apply for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include: Providing patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Prescribing, delegating, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating patient teaching and activities of ancillary nursing personnel, while maintaining professional nursing standards. Providing direct and indirect patient care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of acute hospital experience preferred
• Current RN license or permit to practice in Louisiana
• American Heart Association BLS certification within two weeks of employment

This is a per diem position as needed.
