Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated dialysis nurse to provide hospital-based dialysis care for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. The role includes delivering inpatient hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis therapies across ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units.

You will collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita staff, monitor patients, adjust treatments, and ensure quality outcomes while rotating between facilities in Bolingbrook, La Grange,

Qualifications

• RN license in Illinois (or eligible)
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• ICU/CCU/ED/Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required
• CNN/CDN certification preferred
• Must pass a color vision test
• Must travel/work across Bolingbrook, La Grange, Hinsdale, and Palos Heights, IL
• Ability to work day shift and weekend blocks (Fri–Mon or Thu–Sun)
• Regular and on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in the program, potentially including a booster when eligible

Job description

• Deliver inpatient hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis therapies
• Work directly with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units
• Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff
• Monitor patients, adjust treatments, and ensure quality outcomes
• Support and oversee patient care with PCT assistance
• Rotate between facilities as needed
• Adapt to changing daily schedules based on patient needs
• Work regular and on‑call shifts, including weekends and holidays

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required
• CNN/CDN certification preferred
• Must pass a color vision test; accommodations available
• Must travel/work across Bolingbrook, La Grange, Hinsdale, and Palos Heights, Illinois
