Job summary

The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our hospital team. You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care in accordance with policies, standards, and the hospital's philosophy, and support the healthcare team through leadership and collaboration.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Nevada RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS or NRP certifications. BSN preferred. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire
• BSN preferred
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire
• Current Nevada RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS or NRP certifications as required by facility

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
