Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers and the care team. You will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models like "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization's values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive outcomes.

In this role, you will:

• Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures, monitor, and document care as ordered, administer medications, and respond to therapeutic responses or adverse effects.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, medications, side effects, and follow-up care, translating complex medical terminology as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associates or BSN preferred.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience as a licensed RN required.
• Current RN license in Texas or Multi-State Compact (must obtain Texas license within 90 days if using the Compact).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
