Job summary

Sioux Center Health is seeking a registered nurse for our Med Surg, Emergency Department, and Obstetrics units in Sioux Center, IA. The role features rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays and involves direct patient care, education, and coordination with the Resource Nurse.

You will perform nursing assessments, participate in rounds, administer medications, and support discharge planning while adhering to our Christian care culture and mission-based environment.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license to practice in Iowa.
• Bi-lingual experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and hourly rounding.
• Coordinates physician rounds and communicates orders to staff.
• Provides bedside care and discharge planning.
• Records and documents clinical data and patient information.
• Serves as instructor for prenatal educational activities and collaborates with leaders.
