Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Texas or a valid compact state license.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, ENPC) must be maintained as per unit requirements.
• Experience: prefer 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time in acute care; new grads may provide program documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical/surgical needs; provide professional nursing leadership.
• Assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care under facility policies and philosophy.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and departments to address patient care concerns and resolutions.
• Possible weekend, holiday, evening, night, or on-call shifts as needed.
