Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking qualified nurses to provide safe, competent nursing care in a high-volume hospital setting in Nevada. You will offer professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, guided by patient-centered care principles and our commitment to service excellence.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Nevada RN license is required, along with current BLS; ACLS or PALS/NRP as required by department. 6 months post-hire specialty completion may be needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision; demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
