Qualifications

• Associates Of Science Nursing required at hire.
• Registered Nurse license in TN required at hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred at hire.
• PALS/PCLS or Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 14 days preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic and patient monitoring (detection and recognition of acute changes and escalation or concerns/critical results).
• Administration and monitoring of therapeutic interventions and regimens (IV therapies, meds administration, fall and skin breakdown prevention).
• Managing rapidly changing situations (identify, assess and anticipate needs).
• Organization and work rule competencies (prioritize, coordinate and meet multiple patient needs).
• Helping role (contribute to healing environment, patient comfort, advocate).
• Teaching-coaching function (assess readiness and explain condition).
