Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are highly preferred.
• 1 year or more of acute care nursing experience highly desired.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing care per evidence-based practices and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate plan of care with nursing team, physicians and support services.
• Provide patient and family education and ensure understanding.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation systems.
• Support safe patient discharge and transition of care.
