Job summary

Universal Health Services’ The Valley Health System seeks a registered nurse for West Henderson Hospital in the Las Vegas area. The RN will provide patient-centered care, lead a care team, and uphold service excellence in a busy acute care setting.

Ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, Nevada RN license, BLS, and required certifications (ACLS/PALS/NRP). BSN preferred; acute care experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred and specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• One-year acute care experience OR completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current Nevada RN license; BLS; ACLS (adult) and PALS (pediatric) or NRP (neonatal) as required by department.
• Must pass pre-employment assessment(s).
• Interim RN license eligible as applicable.

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
