LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical-Surgical Unit in a fast-paced acute care setting. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive nursing care to adult patients, performing assessments, and coordinating plans of care.

You will administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN/BSN).
• Active North Carolina RN license (or Compact).
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year med-surg or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients.
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and case managers.
• Educate patients and families on management and discharge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, pharmacists, and case managers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition to ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Current valid North Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Preferred: One year of medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience.
