Endeavor Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Orthopedic Unit on nights at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week with night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am and every other weekend.

You will assess patients, coordinate care plans, educate families, and participate in quality initiatives while staying current with nursing standards and Illinois licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois required
• Current CPR certification from American Heart Association required

Responsabilités

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients and care teams in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessments to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

What you will need:

• Education: Associate's degree in Nursing, required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing, strongly preferred.
• License: Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois, required.
• Certification: Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, required.
