Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Orthopedic Unit to work nights at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time position requires 36 hours per week, with nights from 7:00pm to 7:30am and every other weekend.

The role involves patient assessment, coordinating care plans, and clear communication with patients, families, and the care team. Education and CPR certification are required; a BSN is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Illinois nursing license is required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Unit - Nights
• Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL
• Full Time | 36 hours/week
• Hours: Nights, 7:00pm - 7:30am and every other weekend, required.

What you will do:

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

What you will need:

• Education: Associate's degree in Nursing, required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing, strongly preferred.
• License: Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois, required.
• Certification: Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, required.
