Job summary

Centurion seeks a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) at Big Muddy River Correctional Center in Ina, IL to provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the DON and Nursing Supervisor. The role requires an Associate’s degree and an active RN license with CPR certification.

The position includes rotating night shifts with weekend rotations and a comprehensive benefits package. Evening and night shift differentials are offered to reflect shift preferences and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• RN license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be actively CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of the DON and/or Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Big Muddy River Correctional Center in Ina, Illinois.

Hourly salary of $49.68+/hour.

We offer a $4 shift differential for evenings and $3 shift differential for nights.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift

Full-time Night Shift

The schedule includes rotating weekends. When Saturday and Sunday are worked, the following Wednesday is scheduled off. When Saturday and Sunday are off, the following Friday is scheduled off.
