Schedule Details: Holidays - Every Third Holiday, Monday through Friday, Weekends - Every Third Weekend

Scheduled Hours: 7pm-7:30am

Shift: 3 - Night Shift, 12 Hours (United States of America)

Hours: 24

Cost Center: 10020 - 1405 Nursing 7 West

Union: MNA-University (Massachusetts Nurses Association)

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
  • Perform patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedures.
  • Develop and coordinate individual plans of care, including discharge planning.
  • Direct, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
  • Delegate appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
  • Document patient care according to standard procedures.
  • Develop, implement, coordinate, and document education plans for patients, families, and significant others.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
  • BLS certification is required for all RNs unless ACLS certification is current, along with any unit-specific certifications and competencies.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.

Experience/Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
