Welcome to 5E, our Med/Surg unit with 30 beds dedicated to respiratory, infectious diseases, and general Med/Surg care. We are proud to have 3 Daisy Award winners among our team, showcasing our commitment to excellence. On 5E, you can earn a certification in Med Surg/Progressive Care, adding to your professional growth. • Obtain Med Surg/Progressive Care certifications
• Develop strong bedside and procedural skills
• Understand and develop further expertise for a variety of treatments due to nature of acuity adaptable
• Time management & flexibility while managing patients ranging in acuity levels

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
