Job summary

Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, IN is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of the DON. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to a wide range of health needs.

The RN will work three 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend, and must hold an RN license or be able to obtain one, plus CPR certification. Security clearance and drug screening/background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• RN license or ability to obtain one required.

• Ability to obtain security clearance and pass background checks.

We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team at Miami Correctional Facility located in Bunker Hill, Indiana.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
