Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse at Indiana State Prison in Michigan City, IN. The RN provides holistic nursing care to inmates, under the supervision of the DON and Nursing Supervisor, within approved scope of practice.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of patient needs, including physical, psychological, and social factors, while maintaining security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under DON supervision.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs.

We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team at Indiana State Prison located in Michigan City, Indiana.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shifts

Full-time days, 7am-7:30pm, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend
