Job summary

Arnot Health in the United States seeks a Registered Nurse for 3B/3C Acute Inpatient units. The role features full-time, 12-hour days with weekend and holiday rotation, a strong collaborative team, and ongoing skill development.

You will provide high-quality, person-centered care and participate in consistent documentation and education of patients and families. Qualified candidates hold NY RN licensure and BLS/ACLS, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse 3B/3C Acute Inpatient

As a Registered Nurse on our 3B/3C Acute Inpatient Units you will be provided flexible scheduling, a collaborative team atmosphere, and a dynamic environment that sharpens your skills. You will play a vital role in patient care, gain continuous learning opportunities and enjoy job security in this essential high demand field.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assess patients with a variety of needs.
• Use a person-centered care approach in the development of care, and effectively prioritize patient needs that are both expected and unanticipated.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact with other health care professional and patients.
• Demonstrate competence and resourcefulness in the implementation of the technical skills required to care for the patient.
• Demonstrates initiative in remaining current in the organization and department policies, procedures, and standards.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care giving, shows follow through on delivery, demonstrates critical thinking skills by making appropriate clinical decisions, proactively addresses actual and potential problems, and executing compliant clinical documentation.
• Assist with educating patients and families and serves as a resource on department standards for patient care.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible to obtain a New York State limited permit.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Stroke certifications before completion of the introductory period.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., Use of computer keyboard); may require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 40 lbs), including boxes, equipment, IV solutions and stooping and kneeling (e.g., to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on lower shelves and to file documents in lower file drawers); sitting, walking, or standing for long periods of time may be necessary; must be able physically to operate the equipment used for the job.
• Must be able to support patients with mobility and positioning.

• Onsite Arnot Health Full time either Days 12 hours shift with weekend and holiday rotation required

Pay Range Disclosure: Standard Rate of $43.70-$53.20 per hour plus benefits Up to $35,000 Sign on Bonus for Qualified RN's
