Qualifications

• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse or Multistate license.
• Three years of professional nursing experience or one year at RN2 (HCP071) or equivalent.
• Experience with long-term care, geriatric nursing, or developmentally disabled patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Institute nursing interventions to stabilize residents and prevent complications.
• Make daily rounds to assess residents and implement interventions.
• Respond to resident and family concerns; document and communicate resolutions.
• Obtain reports from relieving staff and update charge nurse on status.
• Prepare, administer and document medications following accepted practices.
• Consult with Charge Nurse/physician; clarify orders when needed.
• Serve as shift leader and resource to other staff on unit.
• Other duties as assigned.
