Job summary
Complete Care at Groton Regency is seeking a qualified RN Registered Nurse for full-time 2nd shift to provide direct care to residents recently discharged and long-term residents.
You will administer medications, perform wound care, monitor health, create care plans, collaborate with physicians and therapists, educate families, document progress, and supervise LPNs/CNAs to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Active RN license to practice in CT.
- Pass background check, drug screen, professional references, and physical evaluation.
- Professional & clinical leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Administer Medications: oral, topical, IV, and injectable medications.
- Treatments: wound care, pain management, dressings.
- Assessment & Monitoring: health assessments, monitor changes, analyze data.
- Care Planning: create, update, and execute individualized care plans.
- Collaboration: coordinate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and others.
- Family & Resident Education: explain health status and care expectations.
- Documentation: maintain detailed health status records and progress.
- Team Oversight: supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care.
