Job summary

Vancrest of Urbana, Inc. is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to implement resident care plans and provide direct nursing services in a compassionate long-term care setting. The role involves leading aspects of the care plan, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring accurate documentation and communication of residents’ needs.

Wages range $35-$40 depending on experience and is determined by the hiring manager during an interview. Working every 3rd weekend is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Nursing License.

Responsibilities

• Implementing a resident care plan.
• Performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations.
• Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Delegating suitable components of the care plan to the nursing assistants, providing guidance and supervision when necessary.
• Consulting with and validating data.
• Recording pertinent information in the patient record.
• Identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments.
• Communicating residents' care needs to others involved in the care.
• Working leader—oversees and implements a resident plan of care.
• Working leader—performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessment and evaluations.
• Consulting with and validating data.
• Recording pertinent information in the patient record.
• Identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments.
• Communicating residents' care needs to others involved in the care.
• Assuming responsibility for professional growth and development.
• Other duties as assigned by the director of nursing.
