Network180 in Grand Rapids, MI, is hiring a Registered Nurse (26-128) for the Psychiatric Services department. This full-time, non-exempt position involves direct care for clients with serious mental illness and related conditions. The job offers comprehensive benefits and no weekend requirements.

The RN must be licensed in Michigan, hold a current CPR certification, and follow HIPAA regulations. Location: 790 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.

Qualifications

• RN degree required and MI licensure.
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications.
• Familiarity with clinical procedures and practices.
• Knowledge of privacy laws and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support for clients with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or IDD.
• Document and coordinate care with the treatment team.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality; adhere to HIPAA and privacy standards.
• Work the stated hours Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm; in-person at Grand Rapids location.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse responsible for direct care and support for clients with serious mental illness, substance use disorders and/or intellectual and developmental disorders in our psychiatric services department.

This position is scheduled during the hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30pm. There are no weekends, on call, or holiday requirements for this position. This assignment is in person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse Degree
• Licensed to practice as a registered nurse In Michigan
• Knowledge of biological factors in mental illness
• Knowledge and understanding of psychiatric medications
• Knowledge of clinic procedures and practices
• Knowledge of State and Federal laws regarding privacy and HIPAA
• Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology in a mental health setting
• Knowledge and ability to work within the American Nurses’ Association Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing practice
• CPR certification
• Ability to work independently and make independent judgments and decisions based on professional knowledge
• Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database management, data entry, and email
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and in stressful situations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
