Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in New Jersey. You will deliver evidence-based nursing care, communicate with the care team, and work to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.

The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS/CPR, and at least 1 year of RN experience, with BSN preferred or to be obtained within 3 years. You will collaborate across disciplines to support admissions to discharge and strive for excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

• Active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• 1 year of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Registered Nurse at Hackensack Meridian includes:

• Delivery of nursing practices according to the evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to provide and ensure safe and excellent delivery of individualized patient centered care with a diverse patient population.


• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and other members of the health care team regarding patient’s status, rendered care and treatment plans.


• Responsible for optimal patient/guest satisfaction and care experience according to Hackensack Meridian Health standards.


• Medication administration utilizing the latest clinical documentation technology designed to ensure the safest delivery of medications to our patients.


• Patient and family centered care aimed at optimizing health, wellness and disease management.


• Interdisciplinary collaboration in management of our patient’s plan of care and goals from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care.

Qualifications

Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license

Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification

BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years

1 Year Of RN Experience Required

Compensation

Minimum rate of $46.25 Hourly
