Job summary

PartnerCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory surgery center team in Warner Robins, GA. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, develop care plans with the care team, and participate in discharge planning.

Ideal candidates have a Georgia RN license and BCLS certification; ACLS is preferred. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, and adherence to clinical policies to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia.
  • BCLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
  • Develop nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
  • Communicate changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
  • Participate in the discharge planning process.
  • Obtain and document nursing history from patients and/or significant others that is comprehensive of the condition and prior problems.
  • Perform basic assessment of patients, indicating adequate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Record vital signs, note changes, and pursue more-specific investigations as needed. Identify abnormal diagnostic data and report information to the physician and others caring for the patient.
  • Review and develop care plans for assigned patients. Include patient and family in planning care, establishing priorities and goals.
  • Use care plans as a basis for safe and therapeutic care; communicate with patient and family and other health care team members; accept accountability for care.
  • Support nursing care standards through adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Participate in peer review as appropriate.
  • Evaluate and note the patient's response to nursing care defined in the care plan and records.
  • Complete CME/CNE and license requirements for professional growth.

How You Contribute and Succeed

The Registered Nurse will assist in providing procedures in the Ambulatory Surgery Center as an important member of the care team. In order to do this, the person in this role will:

  • Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
  • Develop nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
  • Communicate changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co‑workers as appropriate.
  • Participate in the discharge planning process.
  • Obtain and document nursing history from patients and/or significant others that is comprehensive of the condition and prior problems.
  • Perform basic assessment of patients, indicating adequate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Record vital signs, note changes, and pursue more‑specific investigations as needed. Identify abnormal diagnostic data and show a fundamental understanding of its implications by reporting information to the physician and others caring for the patient and incorporating information in the nursing care plan.
  • Review and develop care plans for assigned patients. Include the patient and his or her family in planning care, establishing priorities, and setting goals.
  • Use care plans as a basis for providing safe and therapeutic care to patients. Communicate with the patient and his or her family and other members of the health care team in carrying out the goals of the care plan. Accept accountability for clinical care of assigned patients.
  • Support nursing care standards through adherence to existing policies and procedures.
  • Participate in peer review as appropriate.
  • Evaluate and note the patient's response to nursing care defined in the nursing care plan and medical records.
  • Assume responsibility for professional growth by completing your Continuing Medical Education (CME/CNE) and all necessary state/federal mandated license requirements.

Qualifications - Education and Experience
