Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our radiology teams. You will administer injections, monitor patients, and perform IV access with a focus on safe, compassionate care across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections and monitor patients during and after administration.
• Perform post-biopsy vital signs checks as applicable.
• Access central lines/ports and initiate IV access.
• Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line.
• Assist with hypersensitivity reactions and provide preliminary exam and vital signs if needed.
• Safeguard patient property and patient health information.
• Safeguard on-site medications per company policy and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact professionally with patients, families and the public in clinical settings.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will

• Administer injections and monitor patients during/post administration.
• Administer post-biopsy vital sign checks on patients where applicable.
• Access central lines/ports, initiate IV access.
• Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line.
• Assist with Hypersensitivity Reactions; provide preliminary exam and vital signs in the event of accident/injury at the center.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
