Job summary

The pay rate is $55/hour, with a rotating schedule of 3x12 hours from 6 pm to 6:30 am.

Job description

Location: Waupun, WI 53963 (If this location isn't a fit, we have openings in the Oshkosh and Lisbon areas as well)

Pay rate: $55/hr.

Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension

Schedule: 6 pm - 06:30 am | 3x12s with a weekend and holiday rotation.

Setting: Primary care - Correctional

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Assess, triage, and respond to patient health concerns and medical requests.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility policies.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Monitor patients with acute, chronic, and ongoing medical needs.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Coordinate care with providers, mental health staff, custody staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Assist with sick call, follow-up appointments, and ongoing patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Previous correctional, emergency, medical-surgical, long-term care, or behavioral health nursing experience preferred
