We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work in our Progressive Care Unit.
Status: Full Time, Nights
Schedule: 6pm-6:30am
Summary/Objective
Utilizes the nursing process to provide care to patients of all age groups (infancy through geriatrics), and with all types & degrees of severity of illness or injury. Practices in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act, and hospital & department policies, procedures & standards. Participates in performance improvement efforts. Maintains a clean, well organized department in a constant state of readiness with adequate supplies, equipment checks & housekeeping tasks. Maintains competence through required in‑services & other continuing education. Requires on call, weekend & holiday rotation and the flexibility to work all shifts when needed.

Required Education and Experience
Must have current hospital experience (within 5 years), or be a new nursing graduate (within 2 years).
Must be able to think clearly during emergencies & be able to function well in extremely stressful situations.
Prefer at least 1 year of experience in hospital clinical nursing.
Licenses/certifications
State of Illinois RN license that’s active and in good standing.
CPR certification uponhire.
ACLS within 90 daysof hire.
PALS within 90 daysof hire.
Iroquois Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed hospital located in Watseka, Illinois. The hospital facility is comprised of clinical and diagnostic services which are dedicated to providing high quality health care services to the community. These services include but are not limited to an Emergency Room, full service OR suites, an inpatient care unit, therapy services, advanced medical imaging, Home Health, and Hospice Care.
