Job summary

The Canton-Potsdam Hospital unit seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive assessment, care planning and direct treatment in Cardiology. This role is 37.5 hours weekly, with 8-hour days from Monday to Friday, and occasional float to Radiology to support patient care.

A NYS RN license and BLS are required; BSN and national certifications are preferred. The position emphasizes high-quality patient service, adherence to policies, and safe patient care practices.

Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation.
