BrightStar Care of Greater Waukesha and Lake Country is seeking a dedicated Home Health Registered Nurse to join our home health team. This role delivers skilled nursing care in patients' homes, helping them stay comfortable, independent, and safe.

Flexible shifts, competitive hourly pay, mileage reimbursement, and supportive clinical leadership are available daily. Ideal candidates have Wisconsin RN license, CPR, and at least one year of home health experience.

Qualifications

• Trach and respiratory care experience preferred.
• Ventilator and infusion experience preferred.
• Active Wisconsin RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• CPR certification and TB test or chest X-ray negative required.
• Minimum 1 year in home health, primary care, or health facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care per care plans.
• Perform assessments and ongoing patient evaluations.
• Administer medications, wound care, injections, and other treatments.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team.
• Document care in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Support patient independence and outcomes.

Pay Rage: $40-$45 per hour

Position Summary

Here at BrightStar Care of Greater Waukesha and Lake Country, we are seeking a dedicated Home Health Registered Nurse to join our home health team. This role provides essential hands-on support to patients in their homes, helping them maintain comfort, independence, and safety. Ideal candidates are compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care according to individualized care plans
• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient evaluations
• Administer medications, wound care, injections, and other clinical treatments
• Educate patients and families on disease management, safety, and wellness
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the broader care team
• Document all care accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards
• Promote patient independence and support positive health outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience providing trach and respiratory care with precision and safety (Preferred)
• Experience with using a ventilator (Preferred)
• Experience with Infusions (Preferred)
• Current unencumbered RN license in the State of Wisconsin
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (Preferred)
• Certified CPR and a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility (Preferred)
• Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills
• Analytic/Critical thinker
• Strong clinical skills
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance and reliable transportation
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the client's mobility. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
