Job summary

Arizona Blood and Cancer Specialists is seeking a dedicated Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team in Arizona. The RN will assess patients, administer chemotherapy and supportive care, and document encounters in the EMR.

A compassionate approach will support patients and families through difficult times and treatment processes. Requirements include an accredited nursing program graduate, Arizona RN license, BLS, and oncology/chemotherapy training.

Qualifications

• RN license in Arizona (in good standing).
• BLS certification.
• Oncology/chemotherapy nursing course or equivalent training.
• Previous oncology nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient well-being and chemotherapy-related toxicities.
• Document nursing encounters in the Electronic Medical Record.
• Administer chemotherapy, biologics, immunotherapy and supportive care as prescribed.
• Provide education and compassionate support to patients and families.
• Coordinate with care team to ensure timely delivery of treatment.
