Job summary

IR Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outpatient endovascular lab team. You will assess patients, develop and modify care plans, and provide care for patients undergoing procedures with moderate sedation.

You will work with physicians and staff to ensure safety, HIPAA compliance, and high-quality patient care across all age groups. The role includes pre-op and follow-up calls, with full-time hours Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in this state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and rooms for radiology procedures in compliance with policies.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Support quality patient care and meet facility goals.
• Assist team and provide solutions with good judgment.
• Maintain accurate, audited medical records and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of facility, inspect equipment, manage supplies.
• Assist with hazardous waste disposal and uphold standards.
• Attend meetings and collaborate with physicians on radiography policies.
• Administer moderate sedation during procedures and perform pre- and post-op calls.

JobType: Full-time, Monday through Friday

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the assessment of patients, including the development, evaluation, and modification of the plan of care for patients undergoing procedures with moderate sedation. You will provide care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards. Patients served include all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Explains procedures to patients, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient confidentiality (HIPAA)
• Supports and drives quality patient care by implementing facility-specific action plans and goals
• Performs tasks with considerable judgment, providing assistance to team members and offering solutions
• Ensures medical records are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulations, performing regular audits
• Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the facility, inspecting equipment, recommending repairs, and managing supplies efficiently
• Assists with hazardous waste disposal and upholds environmental standards
• Attends meetings, collaborates with physicians, and addresses their concerns
• Participates in the development of radiography policies and supports regulatory surveys
• Administers moderate sedation during procedure
• Conducts pre-op and follow-up calls

Qualifications
