Job summary

Discovery at Home is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive home health care in Florida. You will assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, monitor progress, and educate families on treatment plans and self-care techniques.

The role requires a valid nursing license, BSN or ADN, CPR certification, and stable driving capabilities. Excellent communication, documentation, and infection-control practices are essential for high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or registered by the applicable state without restrictions.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
• One year of home health experience required.
• Must have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must have a current CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skill proficiency. Ability to use Microsoft Windows.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with advances in nursing practices and attend training programs and continuing education to enhance professional development.
