Job summary

Nightingale Home Healthcare of Florida Inc. in Coral Springs, FL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver direct patient care and case management in patients' homes across Southern Broward County.

The RN will perform admissions, develop care plans, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team while educating families and ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation. Flexible scheduling and per-visit pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida.
• Experience with OASIS and WellSky (Kinnser) strongly preferred.
• Med-surg and wound care experience a plus.
• Current physical exam (within last 12 months).
• Current TB test (within last 12 months) and CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to attend orientation at our Coral Springs (2-3 days in office).

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical history and assess patient condition and needs.
• Conduct physical assessments, including vitals and mobility evaluations.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and home health services.
• Deliver skilled nursing care while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Document and submit accurate visit records promptly.
• Develop and update individualized care plans as needed; coordinate with LPNs, Home Health Aides, and Personal Care Attendants.
• Facilitate referrals for additional services such as therapy or medical social work.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services and adjust as appropriate.
