Job summary

Go Spindle is seeking School Registered Nurses (RNs) to support student health in California school settings with flexible, as-needed assignments.

Provide direct nursing care, manage chronic conditions, administer medications, respond to health concerns, and maintain accurate health records.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state-specific).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Spindle is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support student health in school settings. This is a great opportunity for nurses who want meaningful, flexible work outside of traditional clinical environments.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to students during the school day
• Manage chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, seizures)
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Respond to health concerns, injuries, and emergencies
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers

Basic Requirements

• Active RN license (state-specific)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to respond quickly to student health needs
• Willingness to complete school-based clearancesTB test (per district requirements)

Preferred Experience

• School nursing, pediatric, or community health experience
• Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and student health plans
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Calm, reliable, and student-focused approach
