Job summary

Palm Point Behavioral Health in Titusville, FL, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Per Diem RN to join our inpatient psychiatric team. Shifts are 12 hours (7:00–19:00 or 19:00–07:00), providing compassionate care to adults, children and adolescents in a modern, well‑equipped facility.

You will reassess conditions, coordinate care plans, and ensure infection control and safety standards are followed, with competitive pay and a supportive environment that offers career growth within UHS.

Qualifications

• Current Licensure to practice nursing in Florida.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Document and reassess significant changes in patient condition per policy.
• Prioritize and formulate a plan of care based on assessment.
• Coordinate and deliver nursing care during episodes of care.
• Ensure infection control, OSHA compliance, and risk management.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Document and reassess any significant changes in the patient's condition in compliance with facility policy.
• Prioritize and formulate a plan of care based on patient assessment and according to policy.
• Prescribe and coordinate nursing care to patients, during episode of care.
• Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and risk management.
