Palm Point Behavioral Health in Titusville, FL seeks an experienced House Supervisor (RN) for night shift 7PM-7AM with rotating weekends. You will lead nursing staff, ensure quality patient care, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support treatment plans.

With five years as an RN (two in psychiatric nursing preferred), you will supervise clinical operations, mentor staff, and respond to emergencies, maintaining a therapeutic environment and patient safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Florida RN license; BLS required or obtained prior to direct patient care.
• Five (5) years RN experience; two (2) years in psychiatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leadership in patient care: oversee assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care.
• Staffing and coordination: ensure efficient staffing and coordinate admissions/discharges.
• Treatment plan oversight: monitor progress and address medical/nursing needs.
• Clinical supervision and training: supervise staff and provide feedback.

Palm Point is recruiting for a House Supervisor (RN). This position will be Night shift, 7PM-7AM, with rotating weekends. Our House Supervisor (RN) is responsible for the nursing leadership and coordination of assigned nursing personnel. This position ensures the delivery of quality nursing care by managing and supervising the staff providing direct care. Serves actively and constructively as member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team in support of the organization and program treatment philosophy; to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership in Patient Care: Leads the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care services, demonstrating clinical expertise and ensuring a therapeutic environment.
2. Staffing and Coordination: Ensures efficient staffing based on patient census and acuity, coordinating with the Scheduling Manager and facilitating admissions and discharges for optimal throughput.
3. Treatment Plan Oversight: Monitors patient progress, making recommendations in line with treatment plans, and addresses medical/nursing needs to enhance patient care.
4. Clinical Supervision and Training: Provides clinical supervision, guides mental health specialists and nurses in patient care responsibilities, and offers constructive feedback to reinforce desired behaviors.
5. Emergency Management and Liaison: Acts as a leader in emergency situations, expedites concerns to senior administrators, and serves as a liaison with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. Current AHA BLS Certification required or obtained prior to direct patient care.
• Requires five (5) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse. Prefer two (2) in psychiatric nursing. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and their correct administration.
