Job summary

Ohioans Home Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home patient care across Swanton, Whitehouse and Waterville. You will assess, plan and implement care, educate patients and families on diseases and medications, and address needs such asIVs, PICC lines, wound care and catheter care in a compassionate, family-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• One year of acute care experience.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to travel for in-home patient visits.
• Exceptional time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Home healthcare/case management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement patient care in the home setting.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, procedures and medications.
• Address various patient needs including IVs, PICC lines, wound care, and medication administration.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate in-home nursing care with autonomy and accountability.
• Collaborate with Case Managers and maintain documentation via electronic charting.
