Job summary

Recovery Centers of America is seeking an Addiction Recovery RN in South Amboy, NJ. You will provide direct care, assess patients, and develop tailored care plans to support recovery.

This RN role offers competitive pay of $48-$55 per hour, per diem scheduling options, and a supportive, multidisciplinary team. A NJ RN license and BLS are required, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

Location: 901 Ernston Road South Amboy, NJ

Pay: $48 - $55 per hour

Schedule: 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (per-diem)

What You’ll Do

As an addiction recovery RN at RCA, you will:

• Provide individualized care by conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing tailored care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and case managers, to coordinate holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and families on addiction recovery processes and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate , confidential documentation.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment that respects the dignity and diversity of all individuals.

What We’re Looking For

• An active RN license in New Jersey
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or related fields (preferred).
• Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it during orientation.
• Strong clinical judgment and the capacity to manage medical and behavioral health emergencies effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to compassionate patient care.
