Job summary

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is seeking an RN to join our team in New Jersey. You will conduct intake assessments, develop tailored care plans, and administer medications per protocol.

A multidisciplinary team will support holistic patient care and you will educate patients and families on addiction and treatment. Flexible shifts with rotatings weekends and a starting hourly rate of $48.00, with pay range up to $55.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where the facility is located.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or 5 years of supervisory experience; phlebotomy skills preferred.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it during orientation.
• CARN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• An active RN license in the state where this facility is located.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or 5 years of supervisory experience; phlebotomy skills preferred.
• Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it during orientation.
• CARN certification preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and the capacity to safely administer medications and proficiency in effectively managing medical and behavioral health emergencies such as suicide ideation and aggression.
• Knowledge of health care, detoxification process, addiction, co-occurring disorders and DSM criteria and terminology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to compassionate patient care.
