Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, FL is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time day-shift role. The nurse will assess patient and family needs, develop care plans, implement nursing interventions, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ongoing education, and adherence to quality standards are essential. Requirements include RN licensure and BLS certification, with English fluency and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients' and families' needs to provide quality care.
• Develop and communicate realistic problem lists for each patient in collaboration with patient and family.
• Implement medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures with appropriate skills.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of nursing care and work as a team to meet goals.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth and development and maintain licenses/certifications.
• Provide patient education and support to address identified needs.
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans; collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
