Job summary

East Central College is seeking part-time ClinicalNursing adjunct instructors to teach the clinical components of the Nursing curriculum. Positions are for day classes at the Rolla location and are offered on a per-semester basis.

Candidates must hold a nursing license in Missouri and meet education requirements. Applicants with a Master’s in Nursing are preferred; a Baccalaureate in nursing is minimally required with at least two years of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred; a bachelor's degree is minimally required.
• Active clinical practice with a minimum of two years of nursing experience.
• Current Missouri nursing licensure with no disciplinary history.

Responsibilities

• Teach the clinical components of the Nursing curriculum.
• Deliver day classes at the Rolla location.
• Adjunct appointments are offered per semester based on degree level.

Minimum Qualifications: (A comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.)

• Master’s degree in Nursing, preferred. Baccalaureate degree in nursing is minimally required. Appropriate clinical practice with minimum of two years of experience in nursing. Current, active licensure to practice professional nursing in Missouri; the candidate’s license to practice professional nursing have never been disciplined in any jurisdiction.
• Faculty providing clinical instruction shall have a minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing and appropriate clinical experience equivalent to 4160 clock hours. A baccalaureate degree in nursing is preferred. Current, active licensure to practice professional nursing in Missouri; the candidate’s license to practice professional nursing have never been disciplined in any jurisdiction.

Adjuncts are hired on a per-semester basis and are paidbased on the level of degree obtained.
