Rosedale Health and Rehabilitation in Richmond, VA seeks Registered Nurses (RNs) to be the heart of skilled care. We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts in a compassionate, resident-centered setting within a premier skilled nursing and long-term care facility.

Benefits include competitive hourly pay up to $43.45/hr, a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid quarterly for qualified applicants, and access to daily pay.

Qualifications

• Active VA State RN license.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 25 or more pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended time periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs per standards of practice, orders, and policies.
• Plan nursing interventions and monitor implementation.
• Evaluate care interventions, identify problems, and develop alternatives.
• Conduct family and resident education.
• Administer medications and treatments timely per policy.
• Transcribe orders and chart progress accurately.
• Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician, and family.
• Identify skin changes and follow skin management protocols.
• Order and report diagnostic tests timely.
• Follow Pharmacy policy for ordering/delivering medications.
• Coordinate rehab with therapists to meet needs.
• Ensure CNA documentation and assignments are completed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines

• Plan nursing interventions for each resident based on individual needs and monitor the implementation

• Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions, identify problems and trends and develop alternative interventions.

• Conduct family and resident education

• Administer medications and treatments timely and according to center policy

• Transcribe physician’s orders and chart progress notes in an informative, factual manner that reflects the care administered as well as the resident’s response

• Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician and family

• Accurately identify skin changes and follow skin management protocols

• Order and report diagnostic tests timely

• Follow Pharmacy policy and procedures for ordering and delivering medications.

• Coordinate resident’s rehabilitation program with therapists to ensure rehabilitation needs are met

• Monitors that CNA documentation is completed daily

• Ensures CNA assignments are completed on time

• Perform additional nursing care responsibilities as required and based on State Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements:
