Job summary

Redfield Community Memorial Hospital and Clinic in Redfield, SD is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to serve as Charge Nurse on the night shift. You will apply the nursing process to plan, direct, and coordinate care for patients across the lifespan, and mentor staff on the unit.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
  • Current license to practice in the state of South Dakota.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (and TNCC/NRP as applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor nursing staff on the unit.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate patient care on the shift.
  • Coordinate staffing and bed availability for safe operations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and home care as needed.
  • Uphold policies, procedures, and patient-centered care standards.
