Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit. This full-time, temporary position offers $53/hour and shift from days. The RN delivers safe patient care using the nursing process and collaborates with physicians to monitor patient status.

Qualifications include a current RN license and BLS; ACLS preferred, with BSN preferred. Prior acute care and ventilator management experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate on hire and maintain.
• ACLS certificate preferred within 30 days of hire and maintain.
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Status: Full-Time, Temporary

Pay: $53/hour

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients.
• He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
