Job summary

College Park Family Care Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our OB and Pediatrics teams. This full-time role offers day shifts, no nights, no weekends, and a $3,000 new-hire sign-on bonus.

You will provide nursing care, screen and prepare patients, and coordinate admissions in a fast-paced setting. You will educate patients and families on medications, document results, and ensure medication administration per physician orders.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required.
• 1-3 years' experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting test and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed).
