Job summary

A healthcare provider in Ocala, Florida, seeks a Full-Time Registered Nurse to enhance patient care in an employer-sponsored health center. Job description

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8a-5p, Wednesday 8a-6p and Friday 8a-4p (No Nights, Weekends or On Call). Health Center Opening 8/25.

My Health Onsite manages employer sponsored health & wellness centers. Our medical team takes time to build strong relationships. No one is rushed in and out, and no one is a “number.” Patients may access a range of medical services including x‑ray, an onsite pharmacy, wellness services, treatment for acute illnesses and chronic conditions. Our programs go beyond caring for the sick and injured – we make prevention our number one goal.

Essential Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort to exam room
• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, waist circumference)
• Educate patients regarding their illness and treatment, including self‑care, prevention and health maintenance
• Perform all nursing care duties, including procedures, injections, EKGs, stress tests, and phlebotomy
• Document all assessments, actions, care and treatment responses, and communications in patient record in EMR

Minimum Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted State of Florida RN license (or compact license that includes Florida)
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
• Experience performing stress tests
• Patient focused and demonstrated exceptional customer service
• Cardiac experience (preferred, but not required)
• ACLS (strongly preferred)
