Registered Nurse provides medical services in response to health problems, promotes health and safety; provides case management services; and collaborates with clinical and ancillary staff. This position requires reviewing assessments, logs, and follow-up where necessary; ensuring all medical appointments, tests, and lab work are completed as required; providing 24-hour on-call coverage for emergencies; and assisting with the AMAP certification process.
BA in Nursing, NYS Licensure as a Registered Nurse, meeting all NYS Office of the Professions requirements.
RN with 1-2 years OPWDD or mental health experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to train and assist individuals with developmental disabilities in various life skills; valid NYS Driver’s License; willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and SCIPR certifications.
